Dispensary Assistant – Wheatbridge Road, Chesterfield

We are looking for a part time Dispensary Assistant to join our team in our Wheatbridge Road pharmacy in Chesterfield.

The hours of work will be 32 hours per week; Tuesday to Friday, 9am to 6pm (with 1 hour for lunch).

The role will include:

  • Carry out dispensing duties under the supervision of the Pharmacist manager
  • Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Respond appropriately to customer needs, politely and efficiently, by asking appropriate questions, following the Standard Operating Procedures for Sale of Medicines and Supporting Self-care.
  • To maintain the pharmacy to a high standard.
  • To monitor stock levels and adapt orders appropriately.

We are looking for a full time Dispensary Assistant to join our team in our Bank Road pharmacy in Matlock.

The hours of work will be 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.30am to 6.30pm ( with an hour for lunch ). Occaisonal Saturdays may also be required.

We are looking for an Accredited Checking Technician to join our team at our branch in Finney Lane, Cheadle.

The branch opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.30pm and Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Working patterns will be discussed at interview.

The role will include:

  • Check prescriptions previously clinically assessed by a pharmacist where there has been no involvement in the dispensing process prior to checking.
  • Ensure the prescription is labelled, assembled and forwarded for checking, accurately and without undue delay, in accordance with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
